Many of the Services you receive in a hospital or nursing home are also available to you in your own home. Medway sends nurses, therapists, aides and medical social workers to your home so you can recuperate in a more comfortable and familiar environment.  
All our caregivers go through a background check from the Texas Department of Public Safety.

These are a few of the ways we can help our patients:

• Helping patients and their families to understand and follow physician's orders regarding nutrition, special diets, medications, and general nursing care
• Wound care by our specialty trained staff in wound types and treatment protocols 
• Providing Post Op therapy care for joint replacement and pain management
• Helping patients restore strength and independence through physical therapy exercises
• Monitoring the patient’s condition and reporting any changes to the physician
• Giving injections and teaching patients and family the proper techniques for doing so
• Assisting with home management of catheters and feeding tubes
• Assisting patients in the proper use of oxygen and respiratory equipment
• Assisting patients with bathing and personal grooming (ADLS)
• Teaching patients and caregivers at home the proper techniques of how to use a wheelchair, walker or crutches
• Educating diabetic patients on how to manage diet, insulin, and other health related measures
• Helping patients with Ostomy care
